Technical Editor, Intel Editorial (East, Remote)
About the Role:
CrowdStrike is looking for an experienced Technical Editor to join our growing Intelligence team. The successful candidate will edit, format, and publish finished intelligence products for distribution to CrowdStrike Intelligence customers.
The Technical Editor’s mission is to collaborate with analysts and Editorial team colleagues to publish clean copy that reflects Intel Editorial style, voice, and format to accurately and clearly convey complex, analysis-driven content.
This is a salaried, 40-hour per week remote position based in the Eastern Standard time zone (Canada and continental U.S.).
Responsibilities:
Monitor various trackers and queues to proactively organize and prioritize workload
Edit raw analysis to conform to grammar, style, and formatting standards
Build rapport and maintain collaborative relationships with analysts and Editorial teammates to coordinate workloads, deadlines, and individual responsibilities
Communicate with analysts to negotiate suggested changes to edited content as well as answer questions relating to style, grammar, and voice
Publish edited content according to set deadlines, standards, and procedures
Requirements:
Impeccable English-language skills
Bachelor’s degree in English or associated discipline
3 to 5 years’ minimum technical copy editing experience
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
Demonstrable growth mindset, including ability to receive and incorporate feedback
Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask
Experience with: macOS, Microsoft Office, Google Docs, CMS, such as WordPress (preferred), Workflow system, such as Jira (preferred), Slack (or Teams)
