As a leading brand in the mental wellness space, the Calm Content team works hard to develop life-changing audio and video content that truly helps people build a habit around mental wellness. As a member of this team, you will be on the ground floor, building an exciting new experience for Calm to assist with personal mindful growth within the workplace. What You’ll Do:
Calm is looking for a seasoned, creative Supervising Producer and inspiring people leader to help us develop and support all creative, production, logistical and technical aspects for groundbreaking longform events. This skilled, creative leader will work in close collaboration with the Director, Producers, Post Production Team, Production Managers and cross-functional teams in establishing best practices and developing efficient systems to execute the programming strategy of an ambitious programming slate.
- Develop, plan and produce a range of compelling formats and themed content (presentations, workshops, discussions, etc.), designed to engage both virtual and in-person audiences
- Work closely with the Talent team to identify, book and produce inspiring, relevant talent and present transformative topics to ensure the delivery of fresh, timely, life-changing, content
- Work closely with the Director to lead and inspire a world-class production team of creative producers, writers, and editors responsible for developing extraordinary programming and producing impactful events
- Lead, support and collaborate cross-functionally with the entire Production/Technical Team team to oversee, execute and enhance efficient workflow and creative systems
- Conceptualize and inspire the entire team to communicate new ideas and guide visual and story elements to create consistently exceptional content for each event
- Reinforce and contribute to Calm’s culture of inclusivity, ensuring diverse representation within our content ecosystem and across our creative teams
- Create the conditions for creativity to thrive and collaborate cross-functionally to expand the reach and deepen the impact of our programming slate
Who You Are:
- 8+ years experience as a Senior Producer leading high-performing teams and producing world-class content, preferably in the learning and B2B space
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment; ability to flex across all stages of the production process; and readily adaptable to new technologies, tools and workflows
- Exceptional communication skills: verbal, writing, presentation
- Deep understanding of the importance of a mindful work culture to companies and their employees, and demonstrate how that can turn into compelling programming
- A strong grasp and experience with interactive tools that facilitate audience interaction throughout a program
- Passion for the category of mental health & mindfulness as well as the personal/professional development space
- A growth mindset to constantly develop, adjust and enhance scalable workflows to match the cadence and growth of our programming slate
- An effective collaborator with a deep passion for storytelling and technology
