Mission and purpose are at the heart of our work at Whole Foods Market. As a Producer on the Video Team it will be your job to tell compelling stories about that mission and purpose, and to bring those stories to life for our Team Members, customers, suppliers, and the rest of our stakeholders.

Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborates with team and freelancers on content development, editing, and/or production. 

  • Engages with Internal Communications, Corporate Communications, marketing, merchandising teams, and other stakeholders to plan and execute content development. 

  • Ensures developed content aligns with and supports business strategy and objectives. 

  • Provides technical and creative consultation throughout the production process. 

  • Creates and shares best practices for content development, production, post-production and editing. 

  • Manages relationships with store Leadership and Team Members, suppliers, and other stakeholders 

  • Manages multiple projects simultaneously; pre-production, active production, and post-production. 

  • Monitors budget, resources, and costs. 

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

    • Proven ability to plan & execute projects from concepting through to delivery. 

    • Working understanding of production and post production tools and technology. 

    • Familiarity with the Adobe Creative suite. 

    • Experience conducting filmed interviews, including building effective rapport and connection with interview subjects. 

    • Understand trends in media consumption, audiences, and emerging platforms.

      Additional skills: 

      • Ability to competently operate production equipment, including cameras, audio gear, and lighting equipment 

      • Passion for documentary storytelling 

      • Experience with web content development and delivery 

      • Experience with sourcing high quality stock footage, photography, and music. 

      • Understanding of licensing, talent releases, insurance requirements, and other contractual obligations. 

      Education & Experience: 

      • BA/BS degree and 2-4 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. 

      Physical Requirements: 

      • Ability to perform general office requirements 

      • Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations 

      • Travel including overnight trips will be required.
