Learning Content Manager
Cisco Meraki is seeking a passionate and creative learning and development professional to own the content management lifecycle and design aesthetic of Meraki’s training and enablement portfolio.
The Product Enablement team is responsible for crafting premier enablement experiences for Meraki audiences globally. We do this by developing, delivering, and enabling scalable programs and solutions that make Cisco Meraki technologies more accessible to everyone.
In this position, you will be responsible for establishing and overseeing adherence to a content governance framework, ensuring all learning solutions meet quality and design standards, overseeing the use of learning platforms, and aligning with relevant functions within PE and across the Meraki organization.
You will drive impact in this role by consistently and efficiently managing PE’s library of content worldwide, while guiding technical SMEs and instructional designers in the development of a brand-aligned portfolio that meets audiences wherever they are and however they learn best.

Responsibilities:
- Work together with project managers to develop processes and procedures across the full content management lifecycle (including organization, taxonomy, development, change management, localization, versioning, and archiving)
- Ensure all users understand and follow content governance procedures for all training materials and documentation
- Develop templates and style guides to maintain design consistency and brand alignment across all PE learning solutions
- Lead reviews of portfolio development projects from an instructional and brand design perspective, giving feedback to content creators as needed to ensure high quality results that meet audience needs
- Establish and implement standard methodology for developing learning experiences in an accessible and inclusive manner
- Manage Product Enablement’s CMS (Content Management System), LMS (Learning Management System) and learning technology platforms
- Support Designers in assessing and onboarding potential learning technologies, including ongoing vendor management
- Collaborate with Project Management, Strategy, and Delivery teams across PE to align and improve on content governance, development roadmap, and learner experience
- Align with enablement functions across Meraki to share and demonstrate standard methodologies and findings
- Lead and assist in other activities related to training content design, development, management, and execution
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in instructional design, content development, creative design, or similar role
- Experience building, implementing, and scaling content governance frameworks to meet current and future needs
- Demonstrated ability to create content in a clean and polished style with an eye for detail
- Is comfortable editing, participating in peer reviews, and ensuring design standards are met
- Is familiar with adult learning theories and methodologies and/or learning development processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage change and communicate feedback effectively
- Is a versatile self-starter and quick learner who can adjust to changing scope and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Shown success building collaborative relationships with team members, cross-functional partners, as well as external team members.
- Is a great teammate who is personally committed to fostering team spirit and success
- Experienced with applications used to edit and publish content, and able to develop proficiency with internal publishing applications (i.e., content management systems)
- Exhibits a can-do attitude and takes initiative to creatively tackle problems in an upbeat and collaborative manner
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency with Content Management Systems, Learning Management/Experience Systems, design tools (E.g. Adobe InDesign and Illustrator) and eLearning tools (E.g. Articulate 360, Techsmith Camtasia, Adobe Captivate)
- Strong English is required
