The Learning Content Developer & Facilitator III designs, develops, and delivers engaging and effective learning content, using a variety of content authoring tools and instructional design methodologies. The Content Developer & Facilitator consults with Availity subject matter experts and payer partners to create and verify learning content and may fill multiple roles in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, corporate environment.

To be qualified for this position, you must have:

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in work experience
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience implementing instructional design methodologies to support complex business processes
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience developing eLearning training for adult learners in a software development environment
  • Minimum 7-10 of experience delivering training to multiple types and sizes of audiences
  • Experience managing multiple learning projects
  • Experience working with senior level partners
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment
  • Ability to present Availity product demonstrations at an executive level for potential customers


Skills and Knowledge
  • Excellent presentation skills to small and large audiences in-person as well as using web conferencing tools
  • Proficient in Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Suite, or comparable content authoring tools; proficient in recording and editing audio for training demonstrations
  • Proficient in PowerPoint
  • Identifies and develops learning strategies for various health plans
  • Stays abreast of industry trends and technologies to implement innovative solutions
  • Provides human performance consulting services to internal and external leaders and other key stakeholders
  • Coaches and mentors individuals to develop rapidly and produce results; improves others' ability to set goals, take action, make better decisions, and make full use of their natural strengths
  • Ability to respond to customer inquiries via multiple methods.
  • Ability to perform applicable tasks using Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Up to 25% travel may be required


What you will be doing:

Delivery of Training
  • Conducts external (providers, payers) Availity product training via web conferencing tools Records webinars, as appropriate, and performs related administrative tasks
  • Coordinates and manages training deliverables for health plan implementations

Development of Training
  • Creates presentations and materials for training providers and health plans on Availity Essentials
  • Research subject matter/topic and consult with subject matter experts (SMEs) to create accurate and relevant training and performance support materials
  • Conducts training needs assessments and analyzes various data to identify training needs and training ROI
  • Participates in usability testing for online training materials
  • Assists in developing user guides, job aids, and performance support documents
  • Utilize learning management system (LMS) for training programs, as needed
