Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in partner/account management in the video, media, or entertainment industry, with a focus on the gaming space.
  • 3 years of experience in people management.
  • Experience working with publishers and maintaining business relationships.



Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience communicating and influencing a range of audiences, including executives.
  • Experience in program management focused on events and marketing campaigns.
  • Experience in rights management, content ownership, and publisher/creator relationships.
  • Understanding of technical implementations between game accounts and user journeys.
  • Knowledge of mobile gaming (e.g., publisher/creator ecosystems and marketplaces).
  • Passion for and involvement in the gaming space.

You will develop innovative content programs and content agreements with partners, and work cross-functionally with colleagues across multiple disciplines to ensure our partners are positioned for success on YouTube, providing the best possible experience for our users.

The Gaming Publisher business at YouTube is a cross-functional product area. On this team, you will influence investment strategies and partner with stakeholders to build the future of gaming content on the platform. You'll be involved in shaping the way YouTube develops products for users who watch and play games.

As the Lead, Gaming Publishers Partnerships, you'll lead a team of strategic partner managers in North America to guide them in effectively building relationships with industry constituents, working through tasks including, content investment strategies, creative agreement structures, and the day-to-day account activities of YouTube Gaming Publishers. Game Publishers touch a variety of products including Google Ads, Google Play, Google Cloud, and Stadia.

You'll develop cross-functional strategic initiatives that result in growth for gaming content.

Responsibilities

  • Articulate a vision and lead gaming publisher partner managers in implementing it.
  • Develop, plan, and implement projects and initiatives to enhance overall gaming publisher experience and maximize business objectives for partners on YouTube.
  • Manage and lead games publisher partners
  • Provide insights, understandings, and leadership to maximize the potential for current and future product/service offerings.
  • Establish and drive relationships within YouTube's cross-functional product management, engineering, legal, ad sales, and marketing organizations with the goal of driving business growth and content for the Partnerships team.
