OneWorld is searching for a Content Writer that will be responsible for creating patient and public communications that support the programs and marketing objectives for OneWorld Community Health Centers. This includes writing content for advertising, brochures, flyers, website(s), social media platforms, and print materials. The Content Writer delivers quality writing pieces that appeal to our audiences, attract patients and boost community awareness. They will also work in collaboration with the Public Relations Manager to research industry-related topics and develop content for advertising campaigns and social media. This will include conducting interviews and preparing well-structured drafts with compelling headlines to capture the attention of the target audience.

This position will be about 20-30 hours a week and will be located at our Administrative offices on 42nd and Center. The schedule will Monday-Friday, between the hours of 8am and 5pm.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, or related field required.
- Proficiency in English required, Spanish preferred.
- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills required.
- Computer proficiency and experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point) required.
- Proven experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role; experience in a health and/or non-profit environment preferred.
- Demonstrated skills in time management and organization with a high attention to detail, required.
- Ability to work independently and in an autonomous manner, and in collaboration with other team members when necessary.
- Experience doing research using multiple sources.
- Demonstrated flexibility to change, with a willingness to accept a diverse range of projects.
- Hand-on experience with Content Management Systems preferred.
