We’re currently looking for a Customer Advocacy Content Manager. This role will bring the success stories of our customer champions to life and amplify the voice of the customer in the marketplace through the creation of content. This position is directly associated with influencing revenue, building compelling advocacy relationships and assets, and contributing to our customers’ overall success.

This role is highly visible and cross-functional, requiring regular communication with RingCentral’s marketing, sales leadership, sales reps, and customer success manager teams. This individual must be team oriented, have a ‘can do’ attitude, and be comfortable working in a fast paced, team-oriented environment. You’ll be part of a rockstar Customer Advocacy team which is part of the RingCentral brand organization.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with RingCentral’s customer-facing teams to identify customer advocates 

  • Building and nurturing relationships with customers and internal stakeholders including customer success, sales, marketing, and product team

  • Liaising with customers, sales reps, and the customer success team to develop a funnel of customers for marketing content including video testimonials, case studies, PR and more

  • Develop, own and influence a comprehensive customer storytelling content strategy in alignment with both sales needs and the most visible brand partnership opportunities (keynotes, videos, thought leadership partnerships, etc.)

  • Innovate how customers are involved in RingCentral’s priority programs such as brand campaigns, product launches, media and events.

  • Manage high-touch relationships with customer advocates and strategic customer executives to develop and deliver mutually beneficial advocacy plans, across storytelling, media pitches, and events where required.

  • Identify and nurture customer advocate targets in alignment with brand initiatives, go-to market priorities, marketing campaigns and communications priorities.

  • Develop customer content including case studies and videos; and partner with cross functional teams on media pitches, advertising, blogs, and speaking engagements.

  • Identify and take on ad hoc strategic projects in alignment with overall business objectives.


To succeed in this role you must have experience and strengths in:

  • 5+ years of experience in the technology industry in a customer advocacy, brand storytelling, or customer-facing marketing role.

  • Customer-first mentality—including being able to identify, craft and articulate the value propositions of the program to customers.

  • Demonstrated success delivering compelling customer stories

  • Proven track record working effectively with executive-level customers and internal stakeholders to build strong relationships and achieve outcomes.

  • Experience working directly with customers of all levels, with particular emphasis on executive relationships related to executive briefing centers, customer advisory boards/councils, executive sponsorship programs and user groups.

  • Clear understanding of how your work aligns to marketing, sales and communications priorities.

  • Highly organized and efficient with strong project management skills and operational discipline.

What are some social events your company does?

Outside of holiday festivities, the biggest program is RingCentral Spirit Week in October. Events are planned for everyday of the week and include interactive webinars, global relay runs, philanthropic giving as well as plain ol' fashion fun. We always has a lot of pride, but this week in particular the orange and blue really shine through!
