Digital Turbine is seeking an ambitious, well-organized Content Manager to oversee content production for our library of mobile-friendly content. The Content Manager candidate will have impeccable editorial judgment, experience managing a publishing calendar and/or roadmap and familiarity with engagement metrics such as pageviews, clicks and sessions. You do not need to have a deep computer engineering background, but some tech savviness is required, including basic knowledge of HTML and CSS, and experience working with content management systems.
Our Content Manager must understand the importance of brand safety and consistency and be ready to optimize many types of content, including slideshows, news headlines, jokes, quotes, memes and quizzes. The ideal Content Manager will demonstrate a capacity to think outside the box to envision and execute on editorial initiatives.

Responsibilities of the Content Manager:
- Curate, create and publish digital content aligned with our business goals
- Provide feedback and maintain editorial standards on work submitted by independent contractors
- Optimize content and performance KPIs by evaluating traffic and engagement metrics
- Ensure compliance with brand safety, content partner agreements and business terms
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Stay up-to-date with popular content genres, best-practices, and generate new ideas to improve content engagement
Required skills of the Content Manager:
- 2+ years of experience around publishing digital content - e.g. writer/editor, web master, content publisher, social media manager, blogger
- 1+years of experience managing or editing editorial contractors
- Basic technical knowledge of HTML, CSS and web publishing
Preferred skills of the Content Manager:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (Spanish is a plus but not required)
- Experience with image editing software, ideally Adobe Photoshop (and other Creative Cloud apps)
- Degree in Journalism, Marketing, Media/Communications, or relevant field
