As the Associate Manager, Content, you'll work on a dynamic team of enthusiastic and passionate people to produce SEO optimized content and engaging blog articles, keep imagery current and relevant, and be a part of a new team at SeatGeek with endless potential. You'll utilize your experience in content creation and management while learning and gaining experience of working in a technology focused company and the event ticketing industry. You'll have ownership over a small department with large and small projects. You'll be part of the Marketplace Operations Department reporting to the Director, Marketplace Operations.
What you'll do
- Develop and establish content as a department, learning needs, establishing goals and metrics, and always looking for ways to improve and maximize content operations
- Coach, mentor, develop, and delegate responsibilities to your own small team of Specialists
- Serve as the primary business-side end user / stakeholder for internal apps depended on by your team and work with the product team to advocate for improvements to those tools
- Review and update existing content and create new content
- Content includes SEO content, imagery, search, aliasing, blog writing
- Research and stay up to date with industry related topics, trends, and the latest in entertainment culture
- Develop reporting and dashboards to define and track measurable KPIs
- Utilize data to identify trends that influence future performance
What you have
- Bachelor's degree
- 2-5 years experience in comparable, highly operational roles, including managing a small team, content management systems (CMS) and SEO optimization
- Strong intuition for complex software systems and interfaces
- Efficiency to be both a critic and designer of organizational workflows & processes
- Basic self-serve reporting & analytics skills (e.g. Looker, spreadsheets, etc) (SQL is a plus)
- Advanced HTML skills
- Strong communication skills and an eye for detail - You're able to prioritize and manage work while adhering to timelines
