Job Description
You are a tech-savvy wordsmith with a passion for writing and the English language. You excel at writing in an established voice and tone with ease, and you understand the the Internet. Familiar with social media sites, apps, and memes, you love technology and online communities. You have an amazing attention to detail. Not only did you catch the error a few sentences ago, but you also cringed when you saw it. You have a sense of humor!
You're a marketer with the ability to write copy that can sell a product to its target audiences, but you can also put on a UX Writer hat and fine-tune the words on an interface to the bare minimum that fit a character limit, while keeping our brand voice in mind.
You will:

Craft and edit product announcements, emails, community campaigns, UX copy, and more to elevate and celebrate the DeviantArt brand and its features

Collaborate between product, marketing, UX design, dev, and stakeholders to launch an excellent product, shaping raw data into riveting, fun stories, all within the confines of the stated brief and under tight deadlines

Maintain and seamlessly employ copywriting tone and style standards in DeviantArt's brand voice

Own every stage of the content cycle, from research and brainstorming to crafting first drafts, to entering copy into our content management systems, through to the QA stage, where you'll ensure the perfect copy has made it to launch

Juggle multiple projects at once while owning and prioritizing your tasks, meeting tight deadlines, and maintaining a high level of organization and follow-through
Qualifications

Speak and write native-level English and will submit your CV / résumé in English

Are a writing professional who knows how to collaborate with a product team and launch an excellent product under tight deadlines

Have 3-4 years of experience writing professionally for a tech company, online publication, or digital marketing/ad agency

Embody cool-headed adaptability and eagerness collaborating with stakeholders and incorporating feedback into revisions

Have discipline with time-management, follow-through, and ownership of tasks

Can effectively communicate with a community of all ages, skill levels, tech-savviness, and English comprehension
