Position Summary

Avalaunch Media is looking for an experienced SEO Marketing Manager to join our team to drive, manage and build on relationships with our enterprise clients and launch them to results they never thought possible! As a SEO Marketing Manager, you’ll be primarily responsible for fulfilling tasks and strategies for our clients, supporting project management for your book of business, and ensuring their online campaigns continuously develop positive results. The SEO Marketing Manager position is a member of the Marketing Pod and reports directly to the Strategist. This position is required to work onsite at the Avalaunch office a minimum of four days per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will be working closely with a Marketing Strategist. Once the strategy is developed, you will be responsible for the tactical, day-to-day execution of the strategy.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of your client's website and marketing goals.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive organic channel (SEO) strategies.
  • Conduct thorough technical SEO audits, covering elements like crawling/indexing, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, and more.
  • Perform market research and competitive analysis.
  • Create and execute effective content strategies from ideation and production to amplification.
  • Project manage timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently for each client account.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Your communication with clients is critical. You’ll deliver detailed project plans and constantly keep the clients informed on how the various deliverables are progressing.
  • Stay informed about industry news, developments, and changes to provide the best possible support and guidance to your clients, helping them thrive in their online endeavors.
  • You’ll work closely within your pod and with specialized team members to produce client deliverables such as ad creative, copy, design, research, etc.
  • Ultimately, your Pod and the Strategist will oversee the success of the client as we fulfill our mission of Launching Brands and Launching People!
Qualifications
  • You’re an experienced SEO marketing manager with more than two years of experience in working with internal and external team members, vendors, and client stakeholders, in order to rally them around a project plan and meet deadlines according to client goals.
  • You have a working knowledge of digital marketing including SEO, content marketing, paid advertising, data analytics, social media marketing, marketing automation, etc.
  • The basic understanding of how content and website play into the goals and strategies of a business marketing plan.
  • You have experience interfacing directly with client points of contact at all levels and can adapt your communication style to those you’re working with.
  • You thrive on communication, organization, and time management! You’re outgoing, nice (but not a pushover) and love exceeding expectations.
  • You have excellent time management skills and can handle multiple clients and their projects simultaneously.
  • Strong passion for SEO/ digital marketing with expectations to learn more and grow professionally
  • Strong understanding of on-page SEO factors.
  • Moderate to strong understanding of how site /information architecture can influence rankings
  • Ability to diagnose site issues by auditing data within Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, Etc.
  • Understanding of E-E-A-T, what an effective customer journey looks like, UX and how those impact SEO
  • Ability to effectively present work to clients and external partners (be on calls, share your work, explain strategy, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of CSS/HTML is preferred
  • You can prepare quarterly reports and data points for client business reviews.
  • Experience with WordPress and other content management systems preferred
  • PR and/or writing experience is highly regarded.
  • Ability to be in the office a minimum of four days a week.
