Social Media Manager

fal is building the Generative Media Cloud. Infrastructure that helps creators and developers turn raw ideas into finished media, instantly. We’re growing fast and looking for a Content Marketing Manager to shape the narrative of our brand across every channel and touchpoint.

Generative media moves at internet speed. Our social presence isn’t just distribution — it’s brand, community, and growth. You’ll define fal’s voice online, shape how we show up across platforms, and turn product launches and industry moments into content people actually share.

You’ll have a high degree of autonomy and the chance to build a category-defining brand in public.

• Own the strategy, content and day-to-day execution for fal’s Instagram and TikTok accounts (and YouTube Shorts).
• Develop and test content ideas that resonate with creators and creatives globally.
• Write compelling scripts and copy, shaping narratives that feel native to each platform.
• Work with internal teams and external creators to produce high-quality static and video content.
• Experiment with formats, trends, and growth tactics to continuously improve reach and engagement.
• Build and nurture an engaged community through comments, DMs, and creator interactions.
• Track performance, learn from data, and iterate quickly based on what works

We’re looking for someone who is deeply excited about social growth and creator culture, and who takes pride in building things from the ground up. You’ll thrive in this role if you:

• Are or have previously been a creator with above 10k followers.
• Are passionate about image, video and audio AI and excited by the opportunity to make creative tools more accessible worldwide.
• Are highly motivated, self-directed, and comfortable taking ownership from day one.
• Care deeply about quality and consistently aim to exceed expectations.
• Think analytically about growth, experimentation, and distribution, not just content creation.
• Move quickly, learn fast, and adapt easily in a fast-changing environment.
• Work autonomously, take initiative, and leave ego at the door.

• You’ve scaled at least one Instagram or TikTok account to 50k+ followers.

• You’ve grown multiple accounts (your own or for companies/creators), or worked in social media roles where growth was a core responsibility.
• Strong scriptwriting and copywriting skills with a sharp sense for what performs on social platforms.
• Experience ideating and producing static and video content (hands-on creation is a strong bonus).
• A strong intuition for trends, formats, and cultural moments on Instagram and TikTok. Comfort experimenting, failing fast, and doubling down on what works.
• Comfortable with being on camera to entertain and educate viewers in an engaging way.
