About Our Process
We are NOT a content mill; we are a small, specialized content marketing agency that produces high-quality content for companies helmed by thought leaders.
We’re always onboarding new clients. Should we invite you to join our priority database of writers, we’ll stay in touch until we find a good fit for your individual skill set.
At that point, we’ll provide you with:
- A detailed outline for every blog post
- Audio and/or video from client interviews, webinars, or other digital content
- SEO keywords
- The client’s writer brief and style guide
- Regular editorial feedback
Our clients’ industries range from medical to business coaching to recruiting to SaaS.
While every client has different needs, our average writer is responsible for the following:
- Between two (2) and six (6) blog posts per month, 600–1,500 words per post. These blog posts must be optimized for SEO, with one to two long-tail keywords per post. We provide the keywords. We do NOT keyword stuff, and we expect blog posts to sound natural and engaging. We do not require SEO knowledge and will provide training.
- Up to two (2) newsletter introductions, each about two paragraphs long.
- Up to two rounds of revisions based on editorial feedback, if needed.
- Excellent writing, grammar, proofreading, and formatting.
- Accuracy to the source material (client interviews) and the client's brand.
- Ability to turn around all deliverables in four business days.
Your content should be well-structured, technically accurate, and research-backed — but most importantly, it should be engaging and full of personality.
- Opportunities for more long-term freelance writing projects. Once you get used to our content creation style, there will be opportunities to expand your work with us.
- High-quality writing samples to fill your portfolio. This is a ghostwriting position.
- Competitive compensation. Even though you’ll never have to write an article from scratch, we pay top industry rates so you can focus on writing world-class content — and we pay on time!
- Regular monthly work. We don’t pursue one-off projects, and our clients typically stick around long-term.
- Monthly feedback. If you’re a great writer, you thrive off feedback. We provide regular feedback to help you improve the technical aspects of your writing.
- Organized, predictable processes. You’ll never have to guess what’s next or whether the client is happy with your work.
