Responsibilities :
JOB FUNCTION
The Content Manager (CM) ensures their database section is comprehensive, correct, compliant, compelling, and up-to-date. They work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and sales teams to gather and update information. The CM must understand Lexmark’s offerings, the system, and its database, identifying and closing information gaps. Occasionally, they survey and report on content usage and expired data. They also support In Country Reviews (ICR) to fix translation issues using a web-based tool.
ROLES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY
I. Manages the end-to-end workflow of local content management:
- Create, upload, and manage local content in the database
- Approve coordinator submissions for database upload
- Ensure all local content in the database is updated
- Tag database entries effectively
- Rewrite content as needed
II. Manages all the local administrative tasks related to the database:
- Manage proposal automation system (Qvidian) accounts for sales and SME teams
- Train local personnel on Qvidian usage
- Perform basic troubleshooting and escalate issues
- Drive quality and continuous improvement initiatives
III. Provides support to fix translation issues and critical errors
- Improve translation quality
- Understand review process
- Close-loop feedback between reviewer and translator
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree or higher; preferably in Business, Communication or Journalism
- At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience: copyediting, graphic design/layout/art direction and technical/business writing
SKILLS
- Strong communication skills in French and in English (both written and oral)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
- Effective research skills and internet savvy
- Excellent time management, project management, coordination, and editing skills
- Expertise in the Qvidian Proposal system and its database is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and support projects
- Innovative, with the ability to suggest improvements and new ideas
