Study.com is looking for a Content Lead to manage a content development team of 3-5 direct reports.  We are looking for a creative, innovative, data-driven leader who can think outside the box, execute fast, and achieve high impact.  You’ll work at both a strategic and tactical level; turning data, user research, and intuition into curriculum that millions of teachers and students will want to use to achieve their learning goals.  

The contractor will be expected to work during Study.com's Pacific Time business hours Monday - Friday. Additionally, they will need to use their own computer and have reliable access to high-speed internet.

What You’ll Do:

  • Act as a “Product Owner”, leading a project team, setting ambitious stretch goals, and motivating the team to high performance.
  • Deliver content that is optimized for SEO and aligned with learning science for key segments like test prep, college, and high school.
  • Oversee the entire content production process from concept to publication, including planning, development, and post-launch QA.
  • Partner closely with product, development, design, marketing, and other teams to ensure successful content delivery that meets deadlines and quality expectations.
  • Analyze data and market trends, using internal data and market research to generate content strategy and opportunities for new projects.
  • Monitor content production and performance metrics, implementing interventions to continuously improve performance.
  • Lead a global team, inspiring a culture of collaboration, communication, high performance, and productivity.

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

  • 2 or more years of project team lead experience, preferably managing global direct reports
  • 5 or more years working in digital content, ed tech, or a similar industry
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Experience managing SEO and/or educational content production
