Stone Kite is a world building studio that thoughtfully develops heroic universes across games, film, TV, comics, audio, and more. Built by veterans from game and entertainment studios such as Marvel, Disney, Pixar, Bungie, and Riot, our team leverages expertise and passion to build worlds that matter.
We’re looking for an innovative self-starter to join our team as a Content Intern. Reporting to the SVP, IP Incubation, you will have the opportunity to impact a world-building studio during our most foundational incubation phase. You will gain hands-on experience supporting studio projects and learn from industry experts.
This is a part-time temporary role located onsite at our Santa Monica HQ.
What You’ll Do
Film Production Support
- Attend internal meetings and production for our Vertical Film Series
- Assist the creative team in developing, proofreading, and editing scripts.
- Help manage the purchases and spends in the production budget.
- Coordinate and schedule with venues, contractors, and talent.
- Punch up script elements under the supervision of the creative team.
- Assist with set design installation and prop creation.
- Manage the footage organization on hard drives and oversee the film editing.
- Miscellaneous errands as needed.
Asset Management
- Streamline digital and physical folder structures, and audit and align all naming conventions
- Work with the Content Associate to gather materials for weekly studio workshare
Narrative
- Narrative proof-reading, copy-editing, and copy-writing
- Note taking for Content Group
What You’ll Bring
Education and Experience
- Enrolled in a 2 or four year college program as a rising junior or senior
- Studying Film, Art, Theater or any other related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Driven and proactive with a desire to work at and contribute to a start up environment
- Practiced documentation skills
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office

Compensation:
The expected salary range for this position is $18.00 per hour. Compensation decisions are determined using a variety of job-related factors such as skill set, geographic location, market demands, experience, and education / certifications. If we extend an offer for employment, we will consider all individual qualifications.
