HOURLY RATE: $15.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on experience
MUST HAVE:
- Strong writing and editing skills with familiarity in AP style and attention to detail.
- Interest in personal finance and online privacy/security content.
- Comfortable working in tools like Google Docs and a CMS.
- Willingness to learn and proactively ask questions.
- Ability to work on-site in Delray Beach, FL, at least 2 days per week.
EXPERIENCE:
- Previous content writing or editing experience (student publications, blogs, etc.), professional writing experience is a plus.
- Basic familiarity with SEO and keyword research tools is a bonus.
WHAT WE DO
We’re on the hunt for a creative and driven content intern to support Launch Potato’s high-performing SEO content team. You’ll play a key role in crafting compelling, search-optimized articles for two of our standout brands: FinanceBuzz, a trusted source for making smarter money moves, and All About Cookies, a go-to resource for staying safe and secure online.
YOUR ROLE
Support the SEO editorial team in producing and optimizing high-quality content that helps FinanceBuzz and All About Cookies grow search visibility, build brand trust, and drive revenue.
Outcomes (Performance Expectations):
- Content Production Mastery: Independently update and optimize existing articles using SEO best practices and editorial guidelines.
- CMS Proficiency: Create, update, and manage articles using the content management system with minimal supervision.
- Keyword Research & Strategy: Assist in keyword research and organize findings for content briefs to support SEO growth.
- Project Management Skills: Track editorial projects using Asana, meet deadlines, and communicate task progress proactively.
- Content Analysis & Optimization: Use performance data to make actionable recommendations to improve content relevance, rankings, or monetization.
