Overview:

As our Content Creator, you will produce and edit high-quality, engaging visual content primarily using an iPhone, CapCut, and Canva. You will capture the beauty of our interior design projects and showcase our team’s culture and personality across all social media platforms. This role requires a strong sense of visual storytelling, a passion for interior design, and an excellent grasp of current social media trends. 

Content Creation Responsibilities: 

  • Develop creative, thumb-stopping ideas for social media content, including Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, LinkedIn content and photo carousels.
  • Capture high-quality photo and video content using an iPhone and/or DSLR, both on-site at design projects and in the studio.
  • Plan and execute content shoots, including staging, lighting, and composition.
  • Edit short-form video content using CapCut, applying effects, transitions, text overlays, and trending audio to maximize engagement
  • Create and design visually appealing graphics, templates, and layouts using Canva for platforms like Instagram Stories, Pinterest, and marketing materials.
  • Ensure all visual content adheres to the firm's brand guidelines and aesthetic.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to maintain a social media content calendar and schedule posts.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to inform the content strategy.
  • Write compelling and engaging captions and copy for all posts.
  • Monitor content performance using platform analytics to identify top-performing content and optimize future posts.
  • Organize and maintain a content library of raw footage, edited videos, and designed graphics for easy retrieval and repurposing. 

Marketing Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Assist with coordination and execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Support paid advertising on targeted social media channels.
  • Craft content through photography and video from office to location of work and related events.
  • Analytics and performance analysis (being able to read/analyze data and use as a guide to make informed decisions)
  • Helping with the submission details and follow-through for award entries.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute firm events, including open houses, workshops, seminars, client appreciation events, and industry networking functions.
  • Manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor negotiation, catering, audiovisual needs, invitations, and registration.
  • Develop event themes, marketing materials, and promotional plans to maximize attendance and engagement.
  • Oversee event budgets, ensuring cost-effective execution while maintaining high standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Manage post-event activities, including thank-you notes, feedback collection, and performance analysis.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools (Meta and Planoly preferred).
  • An excellent eye for interior design and visual aesthetics.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, journalism or advertising role.
  • Proven experience creating high-quality, engaging content for social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest. Expertise in video and photography capture using an iPhone and/or DSLR with a strong understanding of lighting, composition, and mobile video best practices.
  • Experience in the interior design or home decor industry is a plus.
  • Photography and photoshoot experience preferred. Must be able to create and edit photos and video.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate quickly and effectively when help is required.
  • Strong written and public speaking skills and the ability to effectively use communications to advance the organization’s brand strategy.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong proofreader and excellent, clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work in a collaborative, open environment; successful candidates will be team-oriented, self-directed, and forward-thinking.
  • Experience with and working knowledge of Canva, CapCut, Planoly, Meta, Microsoft products and Google Workspace. Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • Initial and recent knowledge of social Insights tools (Facebook, Instagram, etc).
  • Experience in graphic design and production.

Physical Requirements  

  • Must be able to handle loads up to 10lbs., sometimes up to 20lbs.
  • Must be able to travel occasionally. 
  • Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time. 
  • Work in this position requires being inside most of the time, in an office setting.
  • Must be able to work at off-site locations.
