About the Role
Molecular You is a health tech company that turns complex biomarker science into actionable insight for everyday people. We are looking for a Social Media Content Lead who can own our social presence end-to-end.
This is a hands-on role with real strategic ownership, suited to someone with 4 or more years of social media and content experience. Compensation is $80,000 to $110,000 CAD depending on experience. You will define and execute our organic social strategy, own content creation across formats and channels, and build the systems that turn great science into great content. You will be supported by a Marketing Director, specialist freelancers, and agency partners, and backed by robust brand guidelines and tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute an organic social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Reddit, with a clear point of view on content mix, posting cadence, and platform-specific growth tactics
- Create and publish content regularly: short-form video, static graphics, carousels, stories, and written copy tailored to each platform
- Edit short-form video clips from interviews and longer-form productions into platform-ready content
- Track and report to senior management on social performance metrics, using data to iterate on strategy and improve results over time
- Attend industry events to capture content in the field; travel to the US will be required
What We Are Looking For
- A track record of growing social accounts from the content up, whether in-house at a brand or with an agency
- A strong strategic instinct: you can identify content opportunities, build a posting framework, and explain why your approach will work
- Confident editing short-form video; able to turn raw footage into platform-native clips optimized for reach and retention, able to clip long-form content like podcast episodes
- A genuine interest in health, wellness, and human biology; you do not need a science degree but you must be able to grasp complex ideas and make them accessible
- Analytically curious: comfortable pulling your own performance data and drawing conclusions from it.
