LSEG Deals & Global Infrastructure team covers Mergers & Acquisitions, Initial Public Offerings, Private Placements, Debt Capital Markets, Municipals, Global Infrastructure and Private Equity. Data are directly reflected in the company's core products such as Eikon, Workspace and SDC Platinum, providing systematic data and services for investment banks, law firms and financial market participants. We are hiring an Analyst for the Deals Operations team. It is an individual contributor role but the analyst will be part of a dynamic team working with colleagues across multiple locations and experience a truly multi-national culture.

Role responsibilities

Content Analyst is responsible for the maintenance of database administration and sourcing of the Financial Markets exchange and contributed data. Support other staff or own the contributor relationship between the company and the local exchange, contributor, or data supplier for day-to-day operations. Responsible for ensuring that relevant data is maintained and delivered in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Adhere to change control procedures, data operations standards and current data policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with international stakeholders to identify and meet client needs
  • Accountable for delivering high productivity and quality data.
  • Process and maintain real-time data accurately and in a timely manner onto databases using technical and financial knowledge.
  • Build up knowledge of financial regulations and market practices/conventions in relevant markets.
  • Maximize usage of available tools/support to best of advantage to maintain/improve content quality during daily operations.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, timeliness and completeness per company standards for the covered product/market.
  • Test and provide expert user feedback for new set of application and database releases

Required Day to Day Responsibilities

Analyst will also ensure that relevant data is maintained and delivered in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Process and maintain real-time data accurately and in a timely manner onto databases using technical and financial knowledge.
  • Build up knowledge of financial regulations and market practices/conventions in relevant markets.
  • Maximize usage of available tools/support to best of advantage to maintain/improve content quality during daily operations.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, timeliness and completeness per company standards for the covered product/market.
  • Test and provide expert user feedback for new set of application and database releases
  • Backup other analysts in the team during their absence
  • Work during local holidays to support specific market

Working Hours

  • Standard hours 9am-6pm, Mon-Fri.

Required Skills (Must Have)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Korean/Japanese
  • Native or full professional language proficiency in Mandarin as the role requires research to be conducted in Mandarin, both simplified and traditional.
  • Microsoft Office Skills – Outlook, Word, Excel

Preferred Skills

  • Ability to quickly learn new knowledge and tools
  • Ability to solve problems independently, good at communication and coordination, strong sense of responsibility
  • Data sensitivity and attention to detail

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree (major in finance, economics, management, or accounting is preferred)
