Consumer Product Designer

Location: Mumbai (preferred) / Bangalore (IST hours )

About the Role

A craft-obsessed, detail-oriented, and strategic product designer to drive the UX/UI for mobile apps.

This is not a “make the screens” kind of job, we want someone who leads with their own thought process, answers tough questions through design thinking, and thrives in ambiguity. You should be a problem solver first, designer second. And you should love being both.

What You’ll Do

• Own the end-to-end user experience for the solution from initial concept to final pixel.
• Craft delightful and playful UI - think rich illustrations, smooth animations, engaging interactions.
• Design flows that feel invisible - smooth, intuitive, and smart.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape the product strategy through design thinking.
• Bring a visual storytelling lens to the app - create characters, micro-interactions, gamified elements.
• Lead and present your work with clarity, rationale, and vision.
• Stay ahead of design trends and push the boundaries of what’s possible in health tech.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience designing for consumer mobile apps ( iOS/Android).
• Post Graduate / masters in Design or similar or Graduate with 7 years of experience.
• Strong portfolio that showcases deep UX thinking + beautiful UI craft (you can be stronger in one or both UX / UI).
• Experience designing end-to-end product flows, not just isolated screens.
• Understanding of illustration styles, character design, micro-animations, and playful visual languages.
• Fluent in tools like Figma, Adobe Suite etc.
• Excellent communicator and storyteller- you can defend your design decisions with conviction.
• Self-starter who leads from the front and thrives in fast-paced, chaotic environments.
• Passionate about product, deeply curious, always learning.
• Available to work IST hours.
