Job Summary:
This role is part of Accenture Research’s global industry research team with a focus on Consumer Insights across Retail, Travel and Consumer Goods.
The Consumer Insights Research Specialist will support senior researchers and Accenture’s Consumer industry leaders on Thought Leadership reports / industry Point of Views, asset development and client engagement opportunities globally.
Responsibilities will include leading small research projects and actively contributing to complex projects led by others.
We are looking for a strong researcher with a passion for the consumer and interest in key issues impacting the consumer industries like changing consumer behaviour, technology disruption and implications for client marketing, service and sales teams.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assisting and supporting the development of thought-provoking insights through quantitative and qualitative primary and secondary research methods.
- Drawing on both traditional and innovative data sources and research methodologies to explore key questions in a logical, structured manner.
- Analyzing large datasets and interpreting results using statistical techniques and data visualization tools
- Developing research insights and compelling business narratives alongside research leads.
- Presenting key findings in a structured and concise manner (with focus on insights).
Professional & Technical Skills:
- A basic understanding of the role of digital and technology in disrupting consumer behaviors.
- Ability to use various research techniques such as market analysis, company analysis, strategic analysis frameworks, and survey research.
- Storytelling paired with strong analytical skills and a proven ability to visualize and make sense of the data.
- Strong analytics applied to survey research. Advanced analytics (such as factor analysis, cluster analysis), statistical principles (such as sampling and weighting) is a plus.
- Strong appetite to learn and adopt new tools and skills, including generative AI (GenAI).
- Strategic problem solver with the ability to take an issue and turn it into a researchable question.
- Enthusiasm to work effectively in a global, multi-cultural team.
- Experience in presenting research deliverables to executives.
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Strong professional qualities: client focus, decisiveness, integrity, resilience to stress against stretch goals and deadlines

About Our Company | Accenture
Experience: 5-8 years of business experience, preferably in a consulting environment, think tank, financial institution, or other 3rd party business research organization or demonstrated equivalent skill.
Educational Qualification: A bachelor’s degree, preferably in science or engineering or economics or statistics.
A full-time master’s degree in business (MBA), economics or equivalent.
