CONSUMER INSIGHTS MANAGER (STARLINK)
Starlink, our revolutionary satellite constellation, delivers low-latency broadband internet worldwide. We are committed to expanding access to high-speed internet and providing a world-class digital experience for every customer.
As Consumer Insights Manager, known internally as a Product Growth Manager, you will leverage deep consumer insights and rigorous experimentation to drive measurable improvements in key metrics across how customers discover, evaluate, purchase, and activate Starlink service. In this role, you will own the end-to-end consumer understanding of the Starlink.com purchase journey as well as the associated conversion metrics. - Use customer insights to identify friction points and opportunities, then drive measurable improvements through A/B testing, personalization, messaging, content, and UX changes.
- Own Starlink.com conversion and funnel performance KPIs, driving measurable improvements in acquisition and checkout flows (e.g. including website optimizations, personalized content, messaging, and e-commerce enhancements.)
- Conduct ongoing customer research (surveys, focus groups, analytics) to uncover insights into target audiences' needs, pain points, and behaviors; develop and maintain detailed customer personas for segmentation and journey mapping
- Build and execute a high-velocity A/B testing and experimentation roadmap (e.g., persona-driven campaigns, SEO content, new channels) grounded in customer insights — from hypothesis development through test design, execution, statistical analysis, and scaling.
- Partner closely with Product, Design, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations to translate consumer insights into improved landing pages, pre-purchase education content, checkout flows, and post-purchase activation experiences.
- Build and maintain customer testing groups and research programs to incorporate direct customer feedback into product and funnel decisions
- Create and maintain dashboards (SQL + visualization tools) that connect behavioral data with qualitative insights to guide prioritization and measure impact. Communicate insights with clarity and influence — delivering compelling presentations and storytelling to executives and cross-functional teams.

SpaceX Insights
What We Do
SpaceX designs, manufactures and launches the world’s most advanced rockets and spacecraft. The company was founded in 2002 by Elon Musk to revolutionize space transportation, with the ultimate goal of making life multiplanetary. SpaceX has gained worldwide attention for a series of historic milestones. It is the only private company ever to return a spacecraft from low-Earth orbit, which it first accomplished in December 2010. The company made history again in May 2012 when its Dragon spacecraft attached to the International Space Station, exchanged cargo payloads, and returned safely to Earth — a technically challenging feat previously accomplished only by governments. Since then Dragon has delivered cargo to and from the space station multiple times, providing regular cargo resupply missions for NASA.
