Job Description:

Responsible for creating technical plans from requirements expressed in a non-technical language and delivering significant components of large projects or full smaller projects. Effectively structures communication and communicates with influence and nuance outside of immediate team. Often manages planning, technical, team, and relationship needs of projects. Creates approaches to solving business problems and is very familiar with the business components that guide problem selection. Is a team expert in some relevant class of models and runs models through their entire lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Marketing Mix Models using appropriate statistical approaches; draw inference and conclusion based on model results
  • Effectively articulate the model results to stakeholders, properly incorporate business feedback into the model
  • Regularly monitor the model performance, recalibrate/redevelop the model as needed
  • Document the model development process and model changes with internally required standard
  • Understand nuanced communication; adjust to the tone of the room; effectively structure communication; speak clearly and effectively to multiple stakeholders including skip-level manager; manage technical aspects of projects
  • Understand the structure and purpose of our work streams; learn how our business clients work; plan parts of projects and keep track of relevant details
  • Independently derive the correct lessons from raw data; balance well the competing needs of the model development lifecycle
  • Master the standard capabilities of Python
  • Write efficient computer code using white space, comments, indentation, arrays, control blocks, and modularization
  • Build datasets from complex data warehouses

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-7 years of modeling experience; direct experience in Marketing Mix Modeling is strongly preferred
  • Advanced Python programming skills
  • Proficient in modern modeling methods
  • Demonstrated ability to speak and write clearly and concisely to convey complex data to a non-technical audience
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both in a team environment and independently
  • Self-motivation, self-direction, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities without sacrificing quality or timelines
  • Understand important parts of our data flows

Minimum Education Requirement: Advanced degree in statistics or related field, such as econometrics, engineering, applied mathematics, the applied sciences, or other heavily quantitative disciplines or equivalent work experience

Pay and benefits information

Pay range$123,000.00 - $195,400.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
