ERM in Hong Kong is seeking for a Consulting Associate to help grow the business in the field of Process Safety, Data Analysis, Risk and Reliability Assessment and Safety Management with the potential to become one of our top consultants. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise in data analysis, hazard identification and risk assessment studies (including HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, QRA, and RAM studies) for process plants in the field of oil and gas (including offshore), refinery, chemicals and petrochemicals. The position also requires an energetic candidate who is motivated to travel on a regular basis.
Candidates may also have relevant experience in the following area(s):
Data analysis using python, R, etc.
Reliability assessment
Computation Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
Safety related studies (HAZID, HAZOP, QRA. etc.)
REQUIREMENTS:
Degree in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering, preferably with a post-graduate qualification with modelling experience, from a reputable university in chemical / mechanical engineering
1 year relevant experience in risk assessment or design safety engineering; and in plant operations or process design. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply
Strong data management, analytical and numerical skills
Excellent communication & presentation skills and academic qualifications
Excellent English and Mandarin language skills, both spoken and written
Motivated to travel on a region wide and worldwide basis regularly to meet client needs; (Travel may be extensive on some projects)
Candidates must be motivated, independent individuals with initiative, who can work autonomously and are committed to delivering the highest quality services to our clients
