Who we are

Artefact is a global data and AI consulting firm. We help organisations turn data and AI into measurable business impact across the value chain, from strategy and operating model to data platforms, AI products and marketing. More than 2,500 consultants, data scientists and engineers work for over 1,000 clients worldwide, including Samsung, L’Oréal, Orange and Sanofi.

In Switzerland, our team of around 50 people works from Zurich and Lausanne with Swiss and international companies. Our work covers AI strategy and governance, data transformation and AI use cases that run in production.

What you will be doing: Key responsibilities

We are looking for a Partner to take over and grow Artefact’s commercial business in Lausanne. The office already serves clients across Romandie, and its Tech chapter is led by a Partner on site. You will take over an established client portfolio and grow it against ambitious targets: deepen existing relationships, win new accounts in industry, retail and luxury, and grow the team that delivers them.

Your role will encompass:

  • Taking over existing client relationships in Romandie through a structured handover, and growing them into broader, multi-year partnerships.
  • Opening new accounts with business leaders (CEO, COO, CMO, Chief Digital Officer, heads of business units) at industrial, retail, consumer and luxury companies in Romandie, and at the regional headquarters of international groups around Lake Geneva.
  • Growing Artefact’s Lausanne office with the Swiss Managing Partner and our Lausanne Tech Partner: more clients, more revenue and a larger team. You will also strengthen Artefact’s visibility in the French-speaking business and academic ecosystem.
  • Leading client executives through data and AI transformation, so that Artefact becomes their partner of choice for it.

Among your responsibilities as Partner, you will:

Develop the Romandie client portfolio

  • Build and run an account and go-to-market plan for Romandie: growth targets for existing clients, new target accounts and entry offers.
  • Own your pipeline and report on it monthly: qualified opportunities, conversion rate, sold revenue.
  • Write proposals that address the client’s actual problem, own scoping and pricing, and shape them with the Tech chapter so that strategy and implementation come as one offer.
  • Expand existing accounts to more buyers and business units per client.

Deliver to the highest standard

  • Sponsor engagements run day to day by Engagement Managers, with multidisciplinary teams of consultants, data scientists and data/AI engineers.
  • Be accountable for client satisfaction, project margin and team experience.

Develop our knowledge base

  • Bring a sector edge in industry, retail or luxury: where data and AI change margins, operations or customer experience, and how to package that into offers.
  • Speak and publish in French and English on data and AI topics relevant to these sectors.
  • Work with Artefact’s global industry practices to bring their assets and references to Swiss clients.

Lead and develop the Lausanne team

  • Grow the Lausanne team with Swiss leadership through hiring and internal development, and own staffing on your engagements.
  • Coach consultants on client handling, problem solving and sector knowledge.

What we are looking for

  • 12–15 years of experience, mostly in consulting: technology consulting, strategy consulting, transaction services/due diligence, or a large consulting and technology services firm. A move in-house after a consulting career is welcome.
  • Currently Director, Principal or Associate Partner with a personal sales target, ready for the step to Partner.
  • A track record of growing client relationships: you can name accounts you expanded and the revenue you sold, including clients you opened yourself.
  • Sector experience in industrial goods, retail, consumer or luxury, and a network among decision-makers in Romandie.
  • French at native or full professional level, and fluent English.
  • Working fluency in data and AI: you can discuss what an AI use case needs from data, what it costs and when it pays back, without being an engineer.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to the Lausanne area.

Why you should join us

  • Shape what comes next: the Swiss practice has proven itself and is growing fast. It is still small enough that you shape its clients, its offers and its team.
  • Sell with a global platform: you bring the credentials, delivery capacity and AI assets of a 2,500-person firm into every proposal, and you work with industry leads across Europe.
  • Strategy to production under one roof: our consultants and engineers work in the same teams, so your clients get from recommendation to working solution without changing firms.
  • Culture: innovation, collaboration and action shape how we work. Artefact Switzerland is Great Place to Work certified (2026).
  • Entrepreneurship: you are measured on the clients, revenue and team you build.

Skills Required

  • 12–15 years of experience, mostly in consulting, technology consulting, strategy consulting, transaction services, due diligence, or a large consulting and technology services firm
  • Currently a Director, Principal, or Associate Partner with a personal sales target and readiness to progress to Partner
  • Track record of growing client relationships, expanding accounts, and personally winning new business and revenue
  • Sector experience in industrial goods, retail, consumer, or luxury
  • Established network among decision-makers in Romandie
  • Native or full professional French proficiency
  • Fluent English
  • Working fluency in data and AI, including understanding use-case data needs, costs, and expected returns
  • Based in or willing to relocate to the Lausanne area
