As a Consulting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients solve complex business challenges and achieve meaningful, sustainable transformation. Leading cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution, you will bring structure, insight, and disciplined delivery to every engagement while building trusted relationships with client stakeholders.

This role offers the opportunity to lead high-impact initiatives across several key service areas:

  • Business Process Optimization: Drive process transformation and operational excellence through process redesign, optimization, and development of scalable operating procedures and playbooks.

  • Digital Acceleration: Enable technology-driven business outcomes through solution evaluation, vendor selection, implementation oversight, and user adoption.

  • Organizational Enablement: Lead change management and capability-building initiatives that foster stakeholder alignment, strengthen organizational effectiveness, and sustain new ways of working.

As both a strategic advisor and hands-on leader, you will translate business objectives into actionable solutions, align diverse stakeholders, and deliver measurable results that improve organizational performance and create lasting value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver large, complex initiatives from inception through completion, developing and executing project plans that ensure timely delivery and meet client expectations.

  • Translate complex business challenges into actionable, data-driven strategies through analysis, process optimization, and stakeholder engagement, delivering measurable improvements in efficiency, cost management, and business performance.

  • Facilitate workshops to uncover insights and co-create solutions.

  • Lead transformation initiatives that align people, processes, and technology, delivering sustainable business outcomes through change management, organizational development, and workforce enablement.

  • Lead digital discovery, vendor evaluation, RFP management, solution sourcing, and implementation oversight.

  • Conduct data analysis and build business cases to support strategic decisions.

  • Design and present compelling, executive-level presentations.

  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships based on trust, transparency, and consistent value delivery.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of management consulting or equivalent experience in leading strategic or transformation initiatives.

  • Proven success leading workstreams and delivering measurable business results in:

  • Process Transformation & Operational Excellence, including process optimization and process playbook development

  • Technology Enablement & Digital Transformation

  • Organizational Change Enablement

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.

  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and confidently engage senior executives.

  • Strong project management and workstream leadership experience, including expertise in Agile and Lean methodologies and proficiency with tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar platforms.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, or Tableau to translate data into clear, compelling visual stories.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in fast-paced, client-facing environments.

  • Willingness to be on-site with clients 3 days per week (typically in the San Diego area).

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.

Compensation

$115,000-140,000 base salary, plus bonus, benefits eligible.

Open to Project-Based Hourly W2 at $90-100/hour, benefits eligible.

Skills Required

  • 4+ years of management consulting or equivalent experience in leading strategic or transformation initiatives.
