The Role

Founded by industry experts, DigiRen focuses on helping large commercial and public sector organisations build and scale new capabilities and ways of working to realise the benefits of new and emerging technologies.  With decades of combined experience, we know that for large-scale organisations to fully leverage new technologies, they need to adapt their enterprise IT operating model and build new internal capabilities—embedding the use of the new technology, tools, and processes, and scaling new ways of working across the business.

DigiRen is vendor agnostic but has deep experience and understanding of hyperscale cloud technologies.  We anchor our engagements on the orchestration of change and the delivery of strategic customer outcomes.  As trusted advisors, we help our customers build new organisational capabilities, become self-sufficient, and take control of their journey.

DigiRen operates a flat, highly collaborative, and supportive working environment.  Our focus on people drives our company culture.  We are an inclusive team that nurtures our people for the long term.  We value diversity of experience and anyone who can drive outcomes that deliver value to our customers; DigiRen is a community that enables great work and accelerated learning.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced senior-level Consulting Director for our Canberra practice to lead the delivery of outcomes on complex cloud programs, build strong relationships and become a trusted advisor to both senior technical and business stakeholders.  They must work well in ambiguous situations and be passionate about helping customers succeed.  Consulting Directors ensure that the outcomes, deliverables, approach and timescales are clearly understood by all stakeholders and that the DigiRen team builds and executes a strong plan to deliver valuable business outcomes for our customers.  They are seasoned at using data and insights to monitor performance and surface the right information to facilitate timely decision-making and drive continuous improvement in program delivery.

As a DigiRen Consulting Director, you will join an inclusive and welcoming team of technology leaders who are among the best in the business.

  • Advocate and coach DigiRen and customer delivery teams on new ways of working and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a mentor by providing guidance and support to help team members develop their skills and advance their careers.
  • Actively participate in the talent acquisition process, including interviewing and evaluating candidates.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging team engagement and participation in team-building activities.

What We Do

DigiRen is a 100% Australian and privately owned cloud consulting company. We exist for one reason, to enable our organisations to extract the maximum value from their investment in cloud-based services. We do this by helping assess and uplift their Cloud Operating Models – moving to modern cloud-centric ways of working. Our advisory services cover the full lifecycle of a cloud operating model, from performing current state assessments and future state designs (& value analysis) to working collaboratively within an organisation's teams to uplift and implement new processes and ways of working, to drive optimisation and continual improvement. With offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra, we work with some of Australia’s largest and leading brands across a diverse range of sectors including banking, finance, mining, construction, retail, state and federal government agencies, and leading education facilities.
