Wachsman is seeking a Consultant for immediate hire at its Asia Headquarters in Singapore.
DUTIES:
- Support the development and delivery of strategic communications work for clients, including change management, public affairs, stakeholder engagement and mission-critical business moments.
- Work closely with senior team members and clients to understand business objectives and translate these into effective communications strategies and programmes.
- Contribute to the development of client strategies, frameworks and recommendations that blend strategic communications, risk management and broader business considerations.
- Develop high-quality drafts of communications documents, strategic materials and other client content.
- Manage defined projects and workstreams, coordinating effectively with clients’ internal stakeholders and external parties such as lawyers, bankers, investors and policy advisors.
- Review and provide constructive feedback on drafts and materials produced by junior team members, ensuring a consistently high standard of client work.
- Build strong relationships with clients and provide thoughtful, solutions-focused counsel within their areas of responsibility.
- Contribute ideas, insights and perspectives that strengthen client work and the wider consultancy.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 4 years of experience providing strategic communications and/or corporate affairs services including strategic counsel, financial and resource planning, issues/crisis management and client management; at least 2 years of credentialed agency/consultancy experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of finance and/or advanced technology is a plus.
- Excellent knowledge of media and political landscape in Singapore and across Asia Pacific; international experience is a plus.
