Position Title: Consultant

Position Responsibilities: Analyze functional specification documentation to understand testing requirements, test environments and objectives. Interact with the clients to better understand the product requirements or in case the design requires any kind of modifications. Creating Process Flow Diagram of the system under analysis. Define System Testing Life Cycle (STLC) for the project. Define Defect Life Cycle for the project. Prepare system, UAT test plans and test strategies documents. Maintain and update test management tool with test designs, test processes, test scripts and test data. Schedule testing activities, create budget for testing and prepare test effort estimations. Trace test procedures with the help of test traceability matrix. Develop test infrastructure tools for the team on multiple application platforms (web, mobile, and desktop). Collaborate with developers, program management, and design teams on technical implementation and user scenarios. Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and knowledge books for Application Under Test (AUT). Perform low-level testing like unit testing and module testing. Execute test scripts and report defects, define severity and priority for each defect using defect tracking tool. Conduct defect triage meetings with development teams. Define regression suite for smoke and sanity check.
Position Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, PLUS one (1) year of experience in the job offered or a related position. Experience must include demonstrable knowledge of: HealthRules Payor Tool; Edifecs; Salesforce; WinSCP; ALM; Rally; JIRA; Amazon Workspace; Citrix, and; SQL Server 2000/2012. Travel to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S. approximately 30%, as required.
