How You'll Shape What's Possible:
As a Consultant at Altis, you will employ initiative and strong oral and written communication skills to deliver technical client solutions under supervision. You will perform a range of varied work activities in structured environments. You will also learn a variety of data and analytics platforms, and develop a strong foundation in Cloud platforms, Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence and Analytics design, tools, processes and implementation approaches.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Work under routine direction and effectively manage time and schedules of own work according to deadlines
- Assist in developing and implementing data pipelines and data stores.
- Actively contribute to project delivery
- Gathering user/business requirements
- Data modelling / database design
- Design & develop Reports, dashboards & data visualisations and insights
- Analysing data from multiple and varied sources
- Planning and execution of unit and system testing
- Support of UAT
- Post production support
- Use initiative to solve problems and know when to seek guidance and ask questions
The Knowledge You Bring:
- Tertiary qualification in IT-related subject, or relevant work experience
- 1+ years relevant industry experience in a client-facing role
- Demonstratable experience with databases and solution design/development
- Demonstratable experience in development of Business Intelligence/ Reporting/Analytics Solutions
- Demonstratable experience with contemporary programming languages/tools including experience with SQL
