Title: Consultant, IT
Location: Bangalore
What you’ll be doing
- Develop ServiceNow platform to ensure continuous process improvement and feature development.
- Conduct a benefit analysis of the IT solution and make recommendations for technology direction.
- Configure/customize the Service Now platform, including creating workflows and integrating with third-party systems such as REST and SOAP.
- Experience implementing and maintaining ServiceNow using multiple components of ServiceNow (Incidents, Problems, Change, CMDB, SecOps, and Asset Management). Create service maps for various business services.
- Ongoing support in developing service catalog forms, workflow design, and notifications
- Experience with web technologies JavaScript, ES5+, HTML, CSS/SCSS, SQL. Experience with one or more JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS or React is an advantage.
- Knowledge of web-based protocols and standards (web services, SOAP, REST, WSDL, XML).
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scaling considerations.
What you’ll bring
- Relevant experience of 3-5 years in ServiceNow development and a total experience of 5+ years
- Should have track record of developing high value requirements.
- Certified application developer(CAD) certification is a plus
- Take ownership for own responsibility, creating clarity and motivating and aligning others by managing performance of team through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process
- Should have good communication skills along with having worked with stakeholders in multiple timezones.
- Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
