Responsibilities:
- Responsible the design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of Epic system.
- Design and configure the Epic modules and applications based on organizational requirements.
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and optimization to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and updates.
- Provide ongoing support to end-users, including troubleshooting issues and resolving system-related problems.
- Provide support in Epic implementation and upgrade projects, including execution.
- Manage system change requests and coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless integration of changes.
- Generate and analyze reports to support decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
- Monitoring of system performance and usage metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure that processes and systems are compliant to all policies and regulations.
- Implement and maintain security protocols to safeguard patient and organizational data.
- Propose and implement enhancements to improve system functionality and user satisfaction.
- Act as a liaison between different stakeholders to address and resolve system-related concerns.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay current with Epic system updates, industry trends, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Possess active Epic certification for 2+ years
- Prior exposure to Epic module implementation or optimization
- Nice to have depending on Epic certification/specialty area: proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and reporting tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders (including business users, vendors, and team members).
