Your team (Curriculum Reform)
The Curriculum Reform team's core focus is to advocate for and deliver high-quality resources to attain
Foundational Learning at scale. The team comprises of subject experts across English, Tamil, Math, Science
and Social.
In this role, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Building a working understanding of academic domains (Math). Based on your
area of expertise) and applying this knowledge to support content development.
- Supporting the design and development of curriculum and instructional materials (teacher
handbooks, student worksheets, textbooks, and assessments) for Classes 1–5, aligned to
defined learning outcomes and progressions.
- Supporting the implementation of content development processes and ensuring adherence
to established frameworks and M&E standards across projects.
- Creating draft content and adapting existing materials based on feedback from internal
teams and state stakeholders.
- Coordinating with internal teams (academics, training, M&E, tech) to ensure timely
delivery and alignment of academic outputs.
- Engaging with state SMEs and officials for content validation, feedback, and iterative
improvement, while building working relationships to support project execution.

Prerequisites include:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in curriculum design/teaching.
- Proven ability to craft and create high-quality early-grade teacher and student resources.
- Strong government and stakeholder management skills, including co-creation and
acquiring approval from subject-matter experts.
- Familiarity with Tamil Nadu’s school ecosystem.
- Project Management and quality control, ensuring timely content delivery.
- Proficiency in Tamil is desirable.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to travel (occasional) and willingness to work on-site (Chennai)

- Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu
- Please note: You will be expected to bring your own laptop with updated software (MS Office 2016)
- Remuneration: 5 LPA to 7 LPA
Skills Required
