The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) is the largest of Prometeia business areas, and is the cornerstone of Prometeia’s reputation in the international market. The thematic areas covered by the ERM Area include: Credit Risk, ALM, & Liquidity Risk, Risk & Performance Integration, Risk Governance, ESG Compliance, Credit Decision Management, Pricing & Financial Engineering.
Placed within the ERM Area, the Credit Decision Management Line has been built with the aim of supporting primary banking groups within their digital transformation path.
In the FS industry, projects are particularly focused on the design and implementation of digital Lending solutions and on the delivery of best practices to support credit decisions. Our teams create value by analyzing and re-engineering credit processes, improving the efficiency of Rating Attribution, and leading the transformation of traditional underwriting into a digital, risk-based framework.
PROMETEIA EGYPTIAN BRANCH
The Cairo Office is being established with the aim of serving as central ‘hub’ for the delivery of Risk Management projects in Egypt and North Africa.
Founded in 2018, the Egyptian Risk Team has the mission of consolidating the leadership of Prometeia in one of the key geographies in which our group has operated over the past decade.
In the particular fields of Credit Risk and Credit Decision Management, Prometeia already collaborates with primary banks in Egypt and GCC countries through a local team of 20+ resources.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will collaborate with a specialized team of business consultants, risk advisors and IT architects operating within different projects in Egypt.
His / her main responsibility will include:
- Support the PM in driving digital transformation processes in the fields of Lending and Risk Scoring
- Assist in the design and implementation of credit management processes and analytical frameworks
- Assist in the design of credit architecture and assess the bank’s technological eco-system
- Perform data analysis and query data to implement credit solutions
- Support the methodological analysis and the integration of risk metrics (PD, LGD, EAD, RWA) into credit decision
- Setup and implementation of Early Warning System, Rating Attribution and Credit Monitoring solutions

- Effective communicator in a multinational and multi-discipline environment.

- Strong analytical skills with acute attention to detail.
- Assertive and excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Project/time management skills to meet required deadlines.
- Good knowledge of data management languages (e.g. SQL, R, …)
- Good Microsoft Office skills, e.g. Excel, Word, Power Point and Access.
- Expertise in bank processes and organization.
OTHER SKILLS
- Native Arabic speaker.
- Fluency in English is mandatory (at least C1).
- Proficiency in Italian is considered a plus.
- Capable of working within a multi-language and multicultural environment.
