Scope: Leads the Connect Ministry by creating clear pathways from first-time guests to fully engaged members, ensuring a welcoming and meaningful experience. Oversees first impressions (parking, greeting, hospitality, worship experience, communion) as well as connection events, membership, and serving opportunities that foster belonging and participation.

- Under the leadership of the Group Life Minister, guide the vision and strategy of the Connecting ministry, implementing its philosophy, theology, and best practices for healthy growth.
- Create and lead clear pathways that move people from first-time guests to fully engaged members, including guest services, follow-up, connection events, membership, and serving opportunities.
- Develop and implement plans for the Sunday Experience and special services, ensuring guests feel expected, welcomed, and valued, in collaboration with other departments.
- Recruit, train, and care for Connecting ministry volunteers and leaders, including those serving during special services and events.
- Oversee follow-up processes for first-time guests, including management of PCO workflows.
- Plan and coordinate connection events such as Welcome Lunches and oversee the Membership Class and interview process.
- Assist in developing and managing the ministry budget.
- Operate as a member of the Group Life team and support other churchwide events and initiatives as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

- Active membership and participation at Northwest Bible Church.
- Demonstrate character and spiritual maturity consistent with ministry leadership.
- Articulate a sense of calling to serve in vocational ministry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to navigate conflict with conviction and love.
- 2-3 years relevant ministry experience.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
