About this role
We are looking for a Configuration Specialist, a hands‑on technical role in Engineering team in financial industry, who brings strong experience with sophisticated, configuration driven enterprise platforms and understands how client requirements, platform build, and long-term scalability intersect.
This role is ideal for someone who has worked on client implementations, platform onboarding, or transformation programs in financial industry. It suits those who want to apply that experience closer to engineering and product decision making! We contribute to maintaining configuration as a powerful enabler of flexibility — without it becoming a source of instability, technical debt, or upgrade risk.
About the role
On this role you will focus on how the platform is configured, standardized, and evolved over time to support a wide range of clients and use cases.
You will work closely with engineering, product, and client facing teams, bringing real world implementation insight into platform invent and delivery. Your work will help ensure the platform can support continuous improvement and upgrades while maintaining stability, quality, and predictability.
Key Responsibilities
Define and maintain standard configuration patterns across a large-scale enterprise platform
Help distinguish when requirements should be addressed through configuration, customization, or code
Partner with engineering teams during develop and delivery to ensure new features are configurable, scalable, and upgrade ready
Bring client and implementation experience into architectural and design discussions
Identify recurring client needs and help convert tailored solutions into repeatable, standardized capabilities
Support an operating model where clients can remain on current platform versions with minimal disruption
Reduce configuration drift and long-term complexity through consistency and automation
Ensure configuration changes follow appropriate quality, testing, and change controls
About you
Experience working with enterprise or platform-based systems where configuration is a core concept
Hands on experience handling client specific configurations at scale
Background in client implementations, client integration, or change initiatives
Ability to translate client requirements into standardized, scalable solutions
Comfort working with business stakeholders to understand workflows, constraints, and downstream impacts of configuration choices
Ability to reason about the business impact of configuration, standardization, and upgrade decisions
Curiosity and ability to quickly build domain knowledge in complex financial and investment systems
Technical requirements
SQL (for data migration, validation, analysis)
Scripting for imports, configuration, tooling
Understanding of interfaces, APIs, and integrations
Bachelor’s degree in technical field
Experience with SaaS or continuous delivery platform models
Exposure to automation, tooling, or data driven analysis
Familiarity with software release cycles, testing practices, or platform modernization initiatives
Experience collaborating with engineering and/or product teams
Strong analytical skills and comfort operating in sophisticated, highly governed environments
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences

Our hybrid work model
