Honeybee Robotics is looking for a Configuration Specialist III to ensure the integrity and accuracy of engineering drawings and maintain a robust database of parts within the organization. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with many cross-functions to efficiently catalog cutting-edge designs and ensure they meet all engineering specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Configuration Lead to achieve configuration and change control
- Maintains project baselines.
- Assist in developing processes for Bills of Material input into ERP to support manufacturing.
- Assist with Part and BOM inputs into ERP to reflect manufacturing updates.
- Ensure proper BOM cross reference to applicable documents.
- Conduct Physical and Functional Configuration Audits.
- Reviews and prepares all change requests, while following standard operating procedures.
- Develops CM plans; identifies and tracks interdependencies between individual configurations.
- Ensures all CM and engineering data is accurate; develops CM libraries to track source code, change requests, and other technical documentation.
- Support the Engineering team in various documentation needs.
- Define requirements for Change Management and Configuration Status Accounting.
- Ability to modify CAD models is a plus.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Suite products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc).
Required Qualifications:
- US Person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident).
- 4+ years or equivalent relevant experience.
- Inventory management background is a plus.
- Experience with CAD software or engineering drawings.
- Experience with working in an ISO or AS9100 context required.
- Experience with working with electronic components required.
- Good administrative and record-keeping skills required.
