Supernal provides an inviting open-space workplace designed to foster collaboration, which aligns with one of our core values. This position is required to work on-site 5 days a week.
What we do:
The Configuration Management Specialist will be involved in defining the Configuration Management Plan, as well as the processes and procedures for deployment throughout the ER&D organization. This role will concentrate on Configuration Management specifically for embedded software development. As a member of the Systems Engineering and Aircraft Integration team, the specialist will participate in various trade studies, as well as cost and schedule assessments related to air vehicle development and manufacturing.
What you can do:
- Provide configuration management support, by company policies and/or applicable industry standards, for multiple programs
- Maintain required configuration management records
- Support internal and external audits, as needed, within Systems Engineering
- Operate, input, and lead configuration and documentation status using various electronic systems
- Prepare agenda for various engineering review board meetings (i.e., Configuration Control Board (CCB), Problem Review Board (PRB), etc.)
- Provide necessary data and engineering documentation to support technical meetings
- Participate in continuous improvement activities that improve the success of the department and the division
- Up to 10% of domestic and international travel
- Other duties as assigned
What you can contribute:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field preferred.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in configuration management (an equivalent combination of education experience may be considered)
- Proficiency in the application of configuration management principles in the embedded software development domain
- Knowledge and background in applying Configuration Management principles in software development
- Knowledge of Configuration Management in a highly regulated environment
- Knowledge of requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive delivery of communication and follow up
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must have the ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints
- Proficiency with Excel VLOOKUP, pivot tables, MS Office Suite
You may also be able to contribute:
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience with a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software (i.e., Teamcenter, 3DExperience, Windchill, etc.) preferred
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (i.e., SAP, Oracle, etc.) preferred
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience with Requirements Management (RM) software (i.e., IBM DOORS, Jama, etc.) preferred
Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a bonus as part of total compensation.
The pay range for this position is:
$120,000—$135,000 USD
