Amentum is seeking a Configuration Management Support Specialist to support our Naval customers at NSWC Dahlgren. You will be part of our growing systems & software engineering team and contribute to our diverse skillsets across multiple contracts.

Configuration Management Responsibilities Include:

Providing technical CM support and guidance
-
Media production
-
Ensuring the integrity and consistency of multiple CM Change Control Boards (CCBs)

Providing CCB meeting support
-
Preparing and providing agendas, minutes, notifications, and information packages
-
Tracking action and decision items
-
Scheduling and coordinating periodic meetings with software development team

Maintaining status accounting records
-
Conducting special investigations to include periodic reports from the CM database

Providing summary impact statements as required

Receiving, editing, and distributing reports to/from
Minimum Qualifications:
-
6 years of experience in varied documentation career fields, ideally with exposure to software or technical services.

Excellent written communication skills; working knowledge of MS-Office and integrated software applications

One-year configuration management experience including data entry and report generation

Organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required.

Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance (at a minimum, must receive/be approved for an interim Secret security clearance in order to start) Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of job-related experience
