Because this role involves a combination of independent and collaborative work with the program team, this position will be conducted onsite. To be considered for this opportunity, the selected individual must be local to the greater Southern New Hampshire area due to the needs of the program. Relocation assistance is not available for this opportunity.
Within Engineering, the successful candidate will perform Hardware Configuration Management (HCM) tasks including the fundamentals of Configuration Management: identification, change management, status accounting, audit and verification. The successful candidate will also be capable of performing some Data Management (DM) tasks including assisting and supporting the Project team in planning, preparing, organizing, controlling, and submitting contractually required data, as well as manage the release and control of a wide variety of program related documentation.
Under minimal supervision, the successful candidate will be responsible for executing Hardware Configuration Management and Data Management activities per the Configuration Data Management Plan and BAE Systems policies and procedures.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Use software applications to document the configuration status accounting (CSA) data and maintaining the data in a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system
- Identify and establish designated baselines and Bills of Material (BOM)
- Provide support for the establishment of a Configuration Control Board in accordance with project milestones
- Maintain a status accounting process, including preparation and maintenance of a Configuration Item Verification Record that reflects current status of the end items for hardware
- Provide for necessary interface and communication with customers, subcontractors and hardware areas within program groups and the various company functional elements supporting the program group
- Provide hardware metrics when applicable
- Compile, prepare, review, approve, publish and submit required data received from the customer in quality form, on time, and within budget
- Ensure the establishment, maintenance and project level control of master files for all data is in accordance with a Configuration/Data Management Plan
- Review all deliverable data for conformance to customer requirements and coordinate this effort with the preparing function
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of duties

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Required Skills:
- Bachelors degree in an applicable field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of Hardware Configuration Management experience
- Professional exposure to Data Management and its policies and procedures
- Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to obtain security clearance

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $97008 - $164914
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
