We’re looking for a Concept Developer who’s excited to roll up their sleeves and experiment with cutting-edge solutions in a global business. You’ll be reporting directly to GrowHub’s Innovation Manager. If you thrive on learning, creating, and making things happen - read on.
Some of the tasks you will be entrusted with
You’ll be the engine behind early-stage innovation projects - from discovery to validation - working closely with R&D, Digital, Marketing, and external partners.
Lead internal and external collaboration with innovators, customers, and startups
Guide new ideas through Hempel’s GrowHub innovation funnel
Create and manage project budgets, estimates, and ROI models
Build business cases and pitch concepts to secure funding
Plan and run Proof of Concepts (PoCs) with real customers
Collect insights, track progress, and communicate findings clearly
Behavioral competencies most relevant in order for you to flourish?
Customer discovery interviews & workshops
Low-fi prototyping (think Figma, Miro, sticky notes & sharpies!)
Experiment design and validation testing
Metrics, feedback analysis, and idea refinement
Pitch decks and concept documentation
Fast-tracking high-potential ideas to PoCs
Retiring low-potential concepts early
Delivering PoCs on-time and on-budget
Keeping innovation focused, fun, and customer-centered
What we expect you to have in your backpack as background and experience
Degree in Business, Engineering, Design, or something similar
3–5 years’ experience in product development, startups, project management or prototyping
Skilled in tools like Figma, Miro, PowerPoint, and basic data analytics
Bonus if you’ve worked with Design Thinking, Lean Startup, or Agile
You’re curious, creative, and don’t wait to be told what to do
You connect easily with people and love stakeholder collaboration
You’re organised, clear in communication, and confident in driving change
You enjoy challenges and love experimenting
You question the status quo and push for bold ideas
