• Answer and manage all incoming accident hotline calls in a timely and professional manner.

• Obtain a complete understanding of each incident and accurately document all relevant crash details.

• Communicate effectively with drivers, claimants, and internal departments regarding the status of the driver, equipment, and cargo.

• Notify appropriate departments and personnel as needed, including Operations, Safety, Workers’ Compensation, Breakdown, and Maintenance.

• Monitor accidents for FMCSA drug and alcohol testing requirements and coordinate with designated collectors when applicable.

• Escalate serious or complex accidents, including those involving critical injuries, to management.

• Review, manage, and respond to multiple email threads related to ongoing crash cases.

• Liaise with law enforcement and other external agencies as necessary.

• Preserve all relevant documents, videos, and records to support the Legal Department in preparation for potential litigation.

Education & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Proficient typing and computer skills, including experience with AS400 and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
