As part of Risk Management and Compliance, you are at the center of keeping JPMorganChase strong and resilient. You help the firm grow its business in a responsible way by anticipating new and emerging risks and using your expert judgement to solve real-world challenges that impact our company, customers, and communities.

As a Quality Associate in Risk Management and Compliance, you will predominantly support QA testing across AML and Fraud activity, including Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and No-File Cases, as well as Sanctions Reporting and Investigations activity. You will perform targeted reviews, summarize results, and communicate findings to stakeholders—including identifying incorrect decision-making, gaps in process/procedure, and concerns regarding data integrity and adherence to standards.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform Quality Assurance (QA) reviews of AML and Fraud Investigations (SARs and Cases) to confirm completeness, accuracy, and adherence to internal controls and standards.
  • Review case narratives, supporting evidence, and case outcomes to confirm AML red flags, key risk indicators, and relevant typologies have been identified, assessed, and appropriately documented with a clear rationale.
  • Conduct QA testing of Sanctions processes and outputs to verify required restrictive actions were applied and clearly documented with supporting evidence.
  • Validate data integrity across case management systems and supporting documentation; identify and document data gaps and inconsistencies.
  • Identify, log, and classify QA defects; ensure write-ups are clear, actionable, and aligned to applicable procedures and requirements.
  • Apply independent judgment and escalate questions or concerns when rationale or supporting evidence for risk-based decisions is unclear or insufficient.
  • Prepare and deliver QA summary reports to stakeholders, including defect trending and recommendations for process improvements.

  • Strong research and analytical skills, with attention to detail, and the ability to analyze large amounts of data.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, to clearly articulate results of testing.
  • Ability to translate technical data and information into business reports and presentations, with a good level of proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Prior experience in Quality Assurance/Controls/Audit related roles within the Compliance industry.
