We are currently looking for a Compliance Associate to support our compliance and regulatory activities.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end onboarding process of new payment providers, including due diligence, compliance checks, and contract negotiations.
- Ensure third-party payment partners comply with regulatory, legal, and operational requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for payment providers, fostering transparent, long-term, and collaborative relationships.
- Monitor and manage ongoing provider performance to ensure service quality and compliance with agreed standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Legal, Payments, BI) to align provider capabilities with business objectives.
- Gain exposure to international regulatory environments by assisting with licensing processes across multiple iGaming authorities, supporting timely submissions and ensuring full compliance with jurisdictional requirements.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with payment partners through robust compliance and risk management frameworks.
- Streamline workflows and improve onboarding processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational bottlenecks.
- Stay updated on regulatory developments and industry best practices to ensure continuous compliance and competitive positioning.
- Support audits, reporting, and documentation related to payment providers and third-party management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Law or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in compliance, payments, or financial services – experience within the iGaming industry will be considered a strong plus.
- Familiarity with European and international regulatory environments.
- Problem-solving mindset with a risk-based approach.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., AML, KYC, GDPR or equivalent).
- Ability to manage relationships with third-party partners in an international environment.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
