Job DescriptionAs a Compliance Assistant, you’ll begin your career in compliance by supporting key regulatory and risk management activities across the business. Working closely with experienced team members, you’ll gain hands‑on exposure to due diligence, client reviews, and compliance processes while building your knowledge of AML/CFT requirements and regulatory frameworks in a supportive and collaborative environment.
What You Will Do
- You’ll assist with regulatory approval processes, ensuring client documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained in line with compliance requirements.
- You’ll support Customer Due Diligence (CDD) activities, including conducting background checks, screening clients through World‑Check, and carrying out basic risk assessments under guidance.
- You’ll help review client files and gather information for compliance assessments, periodic reviews, and regulatory reporting activities.
- You’ll assist in preparing compliance reports and maintaining records across AML/CFT, corporate governance, and internal compliance frameworks.
- You’ll follow established compliance procedures and information security standards, helping to safeguard client information and escalate potential risks when identified.

About You
- You hold a degree in Law or a related field, and you’re interested in building your career in compliance or financial crime.
- You have relevant experience in financial services, ideally within compliance, AML, or operations.
- You have a basic understanding of AML/CFT principles and regulatory frameworks, and you’re eager to deepen your knowledge.
- You are detail‑oriented, organised, and analytical, with the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- You are a collaborative team player with strong communication skills, comfortable working in a structured, compliance‑driven environment.
