Job Overview:
Provides support to the Regional Manager of Compensation, including data collection, salary surveys, job evaluation and report preparation. Assists in global processes such as compensation review cycles and ensures accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance in compensation-related activities.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Participates in country specific salary survey process.
Participate in and support the delivery of compensation programs.
Provide job evaluations, market pricing and other compensation requests.
Prepare reports and summaries for review by Regional Compensation Manager.
Assists in global compensation review cycle.
All other duties as needed or assigned.
Qualifications (Minimum Required):
Bachelor's degree preferred; Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with formulas and data organization.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Experience (Minimum Required):
One to three years of experience in Compensation.
Experience working with compensation data and reporting.
Collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment:
Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment.
Occasional drives to site locations with occasional travel both domestic and international.
Physical Requirements:
Frequently stationary for 6-8 hours per day.
Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists.
Occasional crouching, stooping, with frequent bending and twisting of upper body and neck.
Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf.
Light to moderate lifting and carrying, or moving of objects, including luggage and laptop computer with a maximum lift of 15-20 lbs.
Regular and consistent attendance.
Varied hours may be required
This is a hybrid role with the expectation to work within our Durham headquarters 3 days each week.
Pay Range: $60,000-$70,000 (The range does not include benefits, and if applicable, bonus, commission, or equity)
