As a Compensation Programs Analyst, you'll be the go-to expert for data analysis and delivering actionable insights to senior leadership. You'll focus on finding opportunities for automation, process improvements, or re-engineering for all compensation programs. Your role will involve driving operational and organizational optimizations. If you're passionate about working with data, developing innovative models, and diving deep into compensation strategies, this is for you.

This role will report into the Director of Compensation Programs, Operations and Systems. This role is hybrid and located in Gurugram, India.

You Will:Analytics

  • Develop Excel models and conduct analysis related to compensation programs. Ability to see beyond the numbers and help inform, influence, support, and implement our business decisions
  • Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics and monitor the integrity and validity of the data reported
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify key trends and provide data-driven, actionable insights
  • Create materials to communicate strategic priorities, findings and insights to senior leadership team

Compensation Cycle

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of global compensation programs, particularly compensation review cycles
  • Implement systems to support annual pay planning cycles

Operational Efficiency and Automation

  • Work closely with cross functional teams in identifying processes, programs or capabilities that could benefit from automation, process enhancements or re-engineering to optimize performance and future growth opportunities
  • Streamline compensation processes through operational and system enhancements via Workday, Zendesk, and other internal systems(5-6 bullet points that cover the role responsibilities)

You Have:

  • BS/BA degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Data Science or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in technology industry, compensation, consulting, finance or a similarly applicable field
  • Proficient in Google sheets or Excel, including experience building analyses and automated models
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases
  • Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and data pipeline development
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or similar
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
  • Knowledge of industry trends and developments in compensation(5-6 bullet points highlighting key qualifications and experience necessary and any preferred qualifications desired for the role)
  • Project management skills to drive small to midsize projects from inception to delivery

Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).

We are requiring employees to be in the office three days a week – with core days being Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On Mondays and Fridays, employees may choose to work remotely, although the office will still be open.
