We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and clinically skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide pediatric nursing care in the comfort and safety of our clients' homes.
Our nursing services include Medicaid Private Duty Nursing (PDN) and Medicaid Waiver cases. We are looking for nurses who are confident providing skilled care to medically complex pediatric clients and who understand the importance of consistency, communication, and compassionate family-centered care.

Your Role
As an LPN or RN providing pediatric private duty nursing, you will provide skilled nursing care according to the client's individualized care plan and physician's orders.
Responsibilities may include:

Providing one-on-one skilled nursing care to pediatric clients in the home
-
Caring for children with complex medical needs
-
Providing care for clients with tracheostomies
-
Providing care for clients who require mechanical ventilation
-
Providing care for clients with G-tubes
-
Performing assessments and monitoring the client's condition
-
Administering medications and treatments as ordered
-
Providing enteral feeding and G-tube care as ordered
-
Performing tracheostomy care and suctioning as appropriate
-
Monitoring respiratory status and ventilator-dependent clients as applicable
-
Recognizing and reporting changes in the client's condition
-
Following the individualized plan of care and physician's orders
-
Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
-
Communicating appropriately with the client's family and healthcare team

Promoting the client's safety, comfort, dignity, and quality of life

Willing to follow physician's orders, individualized plans of care, and company policies

Comfortable providing care involving tracheostomies, ventilators, and G-tubes

Able to meet all applicable employment, licensing, and client-care requirements
Required Qualifications

Current, active LPN or RN license
-
Pediatric nursing experience preferred
-
Experience with trach, ventilator, and G-tube care required
-
Current CPR certification as required by the agency
-
Ability to successfully complete required orientation, competency, and training requirements
-
Ability to meet applicable Medicaid and agency requirements

Skills Required
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential
- Ability to perform GT (gastrostomy tube) feedings
- Medication administration

- Ability to work 4- to 12-hour in-home shifts with flexible scheduling (PRN/PT/FT)
- Ability to commute to Birmingham, AL and surrounding areas for in-home assignments
